Archie tales

While a young teen, Archie participated in a research study at McGill University. He loved science and this project let him contribute to the science of the adolescent brain. The project, called NeuroVenture, continues. What’s it about? ” The primary objective of the Neuroventure project is to measure and evaluate the impact of the prevention program PreVenture targeting early onset substance use and abuse (drugs, alcohol, and others) on the cerebral and cognitive development of adolescents.”

History

Learning: Archie started his day by reading that day’s Wikipedia post. His contribution about Algonquian-Basque Pidgin was his first Wikipedia article.

Music

Philosophy: Archie recommended Zizek, who he’d read in 2018 and concluded that this was the best stuff he’d read. You’ll notice in the picture of Archie the day before he died that Lenin is on the table in front of him. THIS, Archie declared after reading the book at lunch on his factory job, was now his favourite author.
